GenerationR is a National network (GenerationR Alliance) of Young People’s Advisory Groups (YPAGs) based across the United Kingdom. Groups are funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and/or other National Health Service organisations.
YPAGs are predominantly made up of 10-15 members who are aged between 8-19 years old. Most YPAGs meet every six weeks either at weekends, in the evenings, or during school holidays.
What we do
The main remit of GenerationR Alliance YPAGs is to support the design and delivery of paediatric research in the UK.
YPAGs have been involved in several academic and life science industry projects, including identifying unmet needs, protocol design, patient reported outcomes, patient documentation and producing guidance/training for researchers on how to involve children and young people in health research design.
